Type DTSU666-HW/YDS60-80 Smart Power Sensor provides 2 current input channels. Channel 1 can be directly connected to power cable in series, in other word it operates without external CTs. With this channel the Sensor can measure 80A current at most. In contrast, Channel 2 is designed for lager current range. It has to be used with external CTs, whose secondary current can be 1A or 5A. In a word, design of PV system will be more flexible with these 2 channels.
